Are There CA Exams in December 2026? Official ICAI Schedule

Short answer: no. ICAI has not scheduled any CA exams in December 2026. The remaining 2026 exams are CA Inter & Foundation in September and CA Final in November.

Both official ICAI announcements covering 2026 — No. 13-CA (EXAM)/MAY/2026 (12th December 2025) and No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER–NOVEMBER/2026 (2nd May 2026) — schedule exams only in September and November for the rest of the year. No December session exists.

Why Do People Expect a December 2026 Exam?

Under ICAI's earlier exam cycle, Foundation and Inter had year-end attempts (November/December). That cycle no longer exists: in both 2025 and 2026, Foundation and Inter attempts ran in January, May and September, and CA Final moved to May and November (twice a year, with the January Final session discontinued from 2027).

Based on that pattern, the next Foundation and Inter attempt after September 2026 is expected in January 2027 — but ICAI has not yet announced it. The official date sheet usually arrives 2–3 months before the exams; we will update this page when it does.
