Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how CA Papers ("we", "us", "our"), which operates the website capapers.com, collects, uses, and protects information when you use the site. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site and send the updates you ask for. By using capapers.com you agree to this policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Email address — only when you choose to submit it through one of our subscribe forms (for example, to be notified when new papers, suggested answers, or RTPs are published). We also store a short label indicating which form or page you subscribed from.
- Approximate location and timestamp — when you subscribe, we record the country and (where available) city derived from your connection, plus the date and time, so we can understand where our audience is and when interest peaks.
- Temporary technical data — your IP address is used briefly for spam and rate-limiting protection on the subscribe form. It is not stored alongside your subscription record and is discarded shortly after.
- Usage data (analytics) — like most websites, we collect anonymous/aggregated usage information such as pages visited, time on page, device and browser type, and the site that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
We do not ask for or store names, phone numbers, payment details, or any sensitive personal information. The site is free and has no login or account system.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To send you the exam, paper, and study-material update emails you subscribed to receive.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve content and performance.
- To protect the site from spam, abuse, and automated attacks.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address or personal information to anyone.
3. Email Communications
If you subscribe, we will only email you about CA exam papers, suggested answers, RTPs/MTPs, results, and related study updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting us at [email protected], and we will remove your address from our list.
4. Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure and understand traffic. Google Analytics sets cookies that help us see aggregate trends (such as popular pages and visitor counts). This data is processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy.
You can control or disable cookies at any time:
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
- Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
5. Advertising
We do not currently display third-party advertising on capapers.com. If we introduce advertising in the future (for example, Google AdSense):
- Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
- Visitors in the EEA, UK, and other regions with applicable laws would be shown a consent notice before any advertising or non-essential cookies are used.
This policy will be updated to reflect the specific ad partners and cookies used before any advertising is enabled.
6. Third-Party Services
We rely on the following trusted third parties to operate the site:
- Google Analytics — website analytics.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery (images), and security.
Each of these providers processes data under its own privacy policy.
7. Data Retention
We keep your subscription email and its associated details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Aggregate analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you (which, in practice, is your email address and subscription details). To make a request, email us at [email protected].
9. Children's Privacy
capapers.com is intended for CA students and exam candidates, who are generally adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Data Security
The site is served entirely over HTTPS, and subscription data is stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure. While no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, we take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
